Who this is for. One or two racquets, playing a couple of times a week, restringing every few weeks.
Everything you get
- 1 restring a month with my string. Any string from the Dunlop house line, any gauge. Worth $46.
- Bring your own string and you get 2 restrings instead of 1. Two labor jobs is $60 a la carte. This is the best deal in the plan and it is aimed squarely at people who buy their own reels.
- Next day on everything, guaranteed. Everyone else waits two days or pays $10. Worth $10 a job, every job.
- A fresh overgrip every month. Fitted while the racquet is on the machine. Worth $6.
- Your setup on file and restring reminders. Tension, string and grip size. You never explain it twice.
What is not included
So there are no surprises later.
- Pickup and delivery is not included. You can add it any time at $15 a trip.
- Courtside fittings are not included. They are $95 if you want one.
- Same day is not included. It is $15 if you drop by 12:30pm, $25 after.

How a restring actually goes
- 1. Build the job at restringla.com, or text me.
- 2. Drive it to me and hand it over curbside just off San Vicente. Pull up, hand it over, stay in the car. About ten seconds. Player does not include collection. If you want me to come to you it is $15 each way, added only if you ask.
- 3. I string it, log the setup against that frame, and text you when it is done.
- 4. You come back and collect it, same curbside spot. Nothing to pay, it has come off your allowance.
Pickup, delivery and how far I come
Roughly a 20 minute drive from Brentwood, one way. That is the honest limit, because a 40 minute round trip is time off the machine. In practice that covers Brentwood, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Westwood, Bel Air, Century City, Beverly Hills, Mar Vista and most of Venice.
If you are outside it, I will tell you the moment I see your address, along with what the extra would be. Nothing is ever added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.
Collection days
Every day is currently open, including weekends. I am building the round now, so you pick the day and window that suits you and I will work to it. Once we agree a standing slot it stays yours.
Sunday is the quietest day and the easiest to get. Saturday and Monday are the busiest, so grab those early.
Questions
When does my membership actually start?
The moment you pay. Your first restring is available that day, it does not wait for a billing cycle to turn over. Your month runs from the date you joined and renews on that same date every month.
What happens right after I pay?
I text you from (616) 594-9604, usually within a few hours and always the same day. That first message sets up your account: your racquets, your tension, and the drop-off spot just off San Vicente. Save the number, it is the only one I use.
Do unused restrings roll over?
No. They reset on your renewal date. This is deliberate, it is what lets me hold a queue slot open for you rather than having ten people show up in one week with a year of saved credits.
What string is included?
Any string from the Dunlop house line: Black Widow, Explosive Tour, Iconic All, Iconic Touch, Silk Pro, in 16 or 17 gauge. Premium strings (Babolat, Luxilon, Wilson, Yonex) are ordered in and cost the difference, $10 a restring. Bringing your own, including natural gut, costs nothing extra.
Can I use a restring on a hybrid?
Yes. A hybrid counts as one restring, same as a full bed. If both halves come from the house line there is nothing more to pay.
What if I need more restrings than my plan includes?
Anything past your allowance is charged at the normal rate, and you keep your priority in the queue. If it happens two months running I will tell you to move up a tier rather than let you overpay.
How do I book each job?
Build it at restringla.com, string, tension, grip and timing, about four taps. Or just text me. The status light at the top of the site tells you whether I am at the machine, home for hand-offs, or out.
If two of us hand you a racquet at the same time, who goes first?
The order never changes and it is worth knowing: Estate, then Team, then League, then Player, then everyone else. Within the same tier it is whoever handed it over first. Same day work from a non-member does not jump any member.
How fast do I get it back?
Two days is the free standard for everyone. Next day is $10 a la carte, and free on every membership, which is one of the main reasons to be on one. Same day is $15 if you drop by 12:30pm and $25 after, and it is free on League, Team and Estate.
What is the guarantee?
I hit the deadline or the labor is free. If you are late handing the racquet over, the clock just starts when it is in my hands. On a missed window there is no charge and the credit stays on your account.
How do I cancel?
Any time, no notice and no phone call. Manage or cancel it yourself in the
billing portal, or text me and I will do it. You keep whatever is left in the month you have already paid for.
Can I pause instead of cancelling?
Yes. Injuries and travel happen. Text me and I will pause the billing rather than make you cancel and re-join.
Is there a contract or a joining fee?
No to both. It is month to month from the first day.
Not sure this is the right plan?
Then do not guess, and do not buy yet. Book fifteen minutes with me. I will ask where you live, where you play, how many frames you carry and how often you break strings, and I will tell you which plan fits, including telling you that none of them do if that is the answer.
